Seeing Daddy today....
Hey, I'm super excited...we're going out to brunch with Aunt Mandy & Uncle Dave, Shana, Josh and Grant, and Julie and Jordan, and Tricia & Lisa....fun.................I let Grant have that kiss, and then Papaw Darrell came to pick me up and take me to see Daddy!!!!!!! There are just too many pictures to post here (one of the hazards of visiting Aunt Tricia), but click here and you can see an online album of our week, including our trip to the zoo, Magic House, hockey game, visiting Hannah, going to the Arch and lots of other fun! Good times, but I'm glad to be going back home and back to school...yay!

Hockey game.
So, tonight, we went to the St. Louis Blues hockey game....it was the second game of the season and the Blues knocked the living snot out of the Colorado Whatevers. I screamed and cheered, "Go Blues." Then I screamed, "let's go home." And we did.
Also yesterday we went to the Magic House, which is the St Louis Children's Museum, and they have lots of fun stuff there, including an eletrostatic ball that makes your hair go all crazy:
There was a water area and a pretend truck to drive and pretend fishing and we had a great time. Then we went out to Aunt Lisa's mom's house...it was her birthday a few days ago, so we met Lisa's brothers Brett & Jay there, and also Kimmy and Hannah and Missy, and had cake and went out to dinner and played in the yard. Big ole fun.

Zoooooooo!
Yesterday, we went to the Zoo. First, we stopped by Tricia's work to visit with her co-workers..they all seem to remember me from when I was much smaller...hmmm! Then, THE ZOO! We saw a LOT of awesome animals....apes, monkeys, polar bears, penguins, goats and all kinds of cool stuff. Probably my favorite was the butterfly house. My least favorite? A tie between the snakes and the giant tarantula. I got to pet a guinea pig, watch the zookeeper making the meals for the animals, and--yeah--I kissed a goat. Again. (Plus, one little goat butted me in the knees. Hah!) We rode the train and the carousel and....I got to eat a hot dog. How awesome is that?

Bounce YOU!
Ok, so I'm in St. Louis, visiting Tricia, Lisa & Chevy & Joe-Joe, and today we went to this very cool place called BounceU. It's just this massive indoor room with 5 or 6 different moon bounces to play on. One was a big old slide (and the lady who was in our room with us told us she puts Pledge on it to make it super-speedy-fast). We went to "open play," but---ha-ha-----we were the ONLY ones there, so just us in the whole big room. We bounced on all the toys and went on the slide about, oh, 500 times. Very cool!

The video is sideways...sorry...but you get the idea.
The room we were in was the red room, and then the lady let me look in the blue room, and all the bounces were deflated! They deflate them every night to clean 'em and then it only takes about 10 minutes in the morning to inflate them all. It was awesome.

Party time.
Today was my Daddy's 30th birthday...can you believe it? Well, actually, his birthday is tomorrow, but we had a party for him today and my Nana and Mamaw and Papaw and my sissies and Mamaw Frances and aunts and uncles and cousins and lots of folks. We had hamburgers and hot dogs (mmmm, hot dogs!) and it was big fun.

A boyfriend for Lexy?
Today, I went with Aunt Tricia to take a Christmas card photo for Shana and Josh. Their little boy, Grant, is 2, but he's pretty tall and very cute. We played a bit, but I kept one-upping him. When he said he was two-and-a-half, I said, "Well, I'm three-and-a-half." Then he said he could run, so I showed him I can gallop. Hah. Then he tried to kiss me and I acted all mad, but I talked about him all afternoon and he is VERY cute. Give me about 15 years, Grant, and we can talk about another kiss!

I'm back.
Ok, so my Dad's a little busy keeping up with me to worry about helping me post. He's busy, work, National Guard, blah blah blah. Whatever. Anyway, I'm feeding some info to an aunt for a little bit of updating...can't promise how regular it will be, but we'll try.
So, been busy at school, learning stuff. I converse like an 8-year-old. I'm still my charming, funny self. Two weeks ago, Tricia & Lisa came to Kentucky and since Daddy had Army that weekend, I went to Lexington to hang out with those two aunts, plus Aunt Mandy and Uncle Dave, plus Nana Vonnie came to see me, PLUS Chevy and Aunt Mandy's doggie, Forrest. Fun! We went to the park, the farmer's market, had a hotdog and macaroni-n-cheese cookout with Uncle Dave, and played a new game called Hullabaloo. FUN!
Working on some new pics....bear with me!
Peace out, homies!

Happy Birthday Mommy!
Just wanted to throw out a happy happy birthday to my Mommy...wish I could be there, Mom! Kisses and hugs and I'll see you soon! I love you!
Here's a little video clip of me writing a note to you. Aunt Tricia had been trying to teach me to cheer for her school by yelling M-I-Z-Z-O-U. But I sat down to write you a note and just kept saying M-I-Z Mommy. Dumb Aunt Tricia didn't realize her camera has no sound with the video, though, so sorry you can't hear it!

Sunday is fun day...except if you have a cold.

Sunday, we went out to lunch with the Hunt clan to celebrate G-Love's 82nd birthday, and that was pretty much fun but I have a cold and/or allergies and I feel cruddy. Then I went with Daddy to take my sissies home, so here's a few pictures of our weekend of fun, including running in the sprinkler and trying on Nana's wigs. There's a bunch more pics online, if you want to check 'em out

Saturday is Shrek Day!

Saturday, first we went to visit Nana at G-Love and GG's house, and we ran up and down the hill in the backyard for a long time. I was quite brave and had very much fun.
Then, some of my aunts (3 of them, anyway) took me and my sisters to the theatre to see Shrek the Third. It was pretty good, but it was my first movie in the theater and we walked in after the previews started, so I grabbed Aunt Tricia's leg and kind of yelled, "It's dark in here." She didn't seem surprised by this development, though, so we sat down. Then I stood up. And sat down. And climbed from one lap to another, to another, to an empty seat, to the floor, to a seat again, SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE ME TO THE POTTY, ok, I'm back, can I have a drink, where's the popcorn, I want down, I want up, I NEED TO GO TO THE POTTY AGAIN, AUNT LISA, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, I'm sound asleep.
Whew, that was a great movie!
Now I have to stop and smell the roses. Or wha

Playing hooky...
Friday, my dad was working and I was at school, like everyday, enjoying my 3-year-old self, playing, learning and minding my own business. About 10:30, I was playing in the corner of the 3-year-old room, at the toy stove, when I look up and see my teacher talking to...Aunt Tricia & Aunt Lisa!?!? What the heck are they doing here?
Springing me for the day, that's what. They had come to visit for the weekend and since Daddy and Nana and Aunt Mandy were all working, they called Daddy and got permission to lead me on a jailbreak! Really, we just went to help Mamaw Diane get ready for the birthday party for me, Kenzie, Jameson and Carson, but it was pretty fun! Even if they did make me take a nap!

Then that night my sisters came to see me...and I had cake, ice cream, and presents.
It was Carson's 1st birthday, so he had his own special cake! He's so cute!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!

Fun fun fun with my peeps in Ohio!

Hey, everyone...two very super awesome things to tell you today. First off, Dad's away at Army camp and so I get to visit some of my favoritest people on earth, my Mommaw and Poppaw and all our family and friends in Ohio. I'm sure there will be swimming and playing and, I'm told, some spoiling! Woo hoo! I'm having a super great time and will be posting as much as I can...
The other great news is that what was lost, now is found. Magically, somehow, the old Alexis Update, which seemed to have been eaten in the Great Blogger/Google Switchover of 2006, has miraculously appeared again! So, visit the old site to see me in the way, way-back machine...I'm about to turn 3, so you might want to reminisce about the baby days, before I was Luther-licious!

Whoa, almost forgot!

Sorry for the glut of posts--making up for lost time, I guess--but I almost forgot to tell you the fun news! I have a new cousin! My Aunt Jera had her baby on Friday, March 30, and she is so cute! Her name is Kaylen Victoria, and here's a couple of pictures of us hanging out and doing some cousin-bonding:

Hey, everybody!

Hi, it's me Lexy. Just wanted to tell you what I've been doing lately. First, I started school. Well, it's day care, really, but I call it school and I'm learning stuff. There's a boy there I like named Caleb but Daddy says he is NOT my boyfriend. There's also another girl named Alexis! Who knew? Anyway, we play and color and I'm learning stuff, too. I can count way past 10 in English, up to 10 in Spanish and I know my ABCs pretty well, though I don't really separate L-M-N-O-P; it's more like "an-an-an-a-B." People seem to think it's cute, so maybe I'll just keep doing it!
I've learned the Easter story, and my favorite two questions to ask all the time are "why" and now "where." Here's an example of a recent conversation with my Dad while riding in the backseat of Aunt Tricia's car:
Me: Where are we going?
Dad: Wal-Mart
M: Where is Wal-Mart?
D: Maysville
M: Where is Maysville?
D: Down the road a bit
M: Where is the road?
D: Right under the car
M: Why?
You get the picture. And my most favorite other thing is to say, "I can do it myself." Mamaw Frances likes me to learn to do things myself but I think every once in a while she might just be itching to "help" me a bit. She's patient, though, so I'm learning all kinds of stuff. My chores are to help dump the crumbs off my Dora placemat into the trash after meals, and to put a new trash bag in the kitchen can after someone else empties it. I'm darn good at it too!
Well, that's kind of it for now. I'll keep dictating some posts to Aunt Tricia to kind of fill in a bit until Daddy and I have a faster internet connection. Peace out, homies!
It's me, Aunt Tricia!
Hi, Lexy's internet connection is sort of galactically slow, so I'm going to try to post a little more often than she's able to. Sometimes I can get her to tell me stories to post for her.
A quick update: last weekend was Easter, and she had an aweso
me time. The Easter bunny came inside the house with lots of eggs, because it was very cold outside. (His little helpers put just a few eggs outside, later, all within about 20 feet of the back door). She woke up and the FIRST thing she said was, "Did the Easter bunny come?" I told her that I had been downstairs and it looked to me like he'd been there, so she went in the other room to get Daddy and he got his video camera to film the egg hunt for Mommy. Then Lexy hunted for eggs, and just like her daddy when he was little, she wanted to stop and open each one instead of collecting them and then looking at them.
She got an awesome Diego Rescue Pack and some "moneys" for her wallet, and probably more chocolate than she needs, but who cares, it's Easter?! Then she wanted to hide the eggs and find them again. And again. And again. She's probably still hiding them. Or finding them.

Fun fun fun.
Well, it's been a busy week. Daddy had National Guard drill last week so I hung out with Mamaw Frances all week. I'm trying to be good for her, but, oh man, it is hard to behave myself all the time. A couple of days ago she took me to visit some relatives nearby and I played and played and drove a little car in their front yard and got so tired that when I came home, I went right to the couch and took a nap. I didn't even wake up to talk when Aunt Mandy called.
Then Daddy and I went to see Sissy and Hopper and went to McDonald's for dinner and played on the playground...awesome!
Not much else to tell....I'll try to work with Daddy to post again this weekend. I'll have Aunt Tricia post another pic later today from her stash of millions she took last week! (Note to Tricia...get on it!)

Slow days at home... Slow posting to the blog...
I'm sorry that I haven't been posting alot. It's just that my "creative juices" really haven't been flowing. And, even if they were, there just really hasn't been alot to say. Everything is fine, we are all doing okay. I did learn how to count to ten in spanish, so that was a big day. But I promise that as soon as something happens that is even remotely worth posting I will. Pinky swear!
